Alternative Arrangements for 2021
Now that Cycling UK has changed the dates for its financial year, we
must submit our annual report and accounts before the end of May.
Because of Covid-19, we won't be able to hold our AGM (and Prize
Presentation) as normal. Consequently, we have had to make other
arrangements to undertake the business which is normally conducted via
Our plan is to make all of the relevant reports and documentation
available here, on our website.
This will include the Minutes from last
year's AGM, the Secretary's Report, the Treasurer's Report, details of any
motions submitted by members, nominations received for election of
officers and ordinary committee positions - and a voting form.
will be uploaded to the website as soon as it's available - but all items will
definitely be available on the website from Sunday 9th May.
Completed voting forms will need to be returned by email or by post - to
be received by Sunday 23rd May.
Results will be published on the
website during week commencing 24th May, and in the subsequent issue
Any motions for inclusion in this process should be submitted in writing
to the Notts CTC Secretary, Terry Scott, by 9th May.
Also, if you would
like to nominate an individual for any committee posts then please send
Terry your nomination with a proposer and seconder, plus agreement
from the individual concerned.
Anyone who won't be able to access the reports on the website can
request to be sent paper copies.
Requests must be made to Terry Scott
before 9th May. We ask that people do this only if they really can't access
the reports online.
Finally, we normally announce the winners of our different competitions
at a ceremony immediately before the AGM.
This year, winners of the
Points Competition and the Photographic Competition will be announced
with the voting results - with appropriate arrangements then made for
receipt of prizes.
It isn't planned to award the Merit Shield at this stage,
and sadly we won't be providing cake this year!
