Earlier this year, Michael Jackson made the suggestion that it was time to offer a refreshed design for our club jerseys.
During subsequent consultation, it was clear that there was quite a lot of support for Michael's suggestion - with people seeking a "more modern design", brighter colours (especially a brighter green) and a cheaper price than that for our existing jersey from Impsport.

Since then, your committee has been working hard to identify a supplier who would be able to meet our expectations and then to come up with an appropriate design.
Now at last, we're in a position to reveal the new design for our club jersey and to seek orders from members.

Our supplier will be Gear Club who have produced custom cycling clothes for many different clubs and events - with very positive reviews.
The design of our new jerseys is shown below, with further information and detailed instructions about ordering following on afterwards:

Gear Club's pricing is very competitive anyway but, for our initial order, your committee has agreed that prices will be subsidised further - with the club paying the VAT element.
This means that the short sleeved jersey in Gear Club's most popular Classic style will be available to members for just £26.
The design will hopefully be perceived as bright & modern and so, with such competitive pricing, it's hoped that members will think that the brief has been met.

Gear Club can offer a multitude of styles in both short & long sleeves, all of which are available to members. They also offer numerous options around zip lengths & visibility.
However, we know that Gear Club's two most popular short sleeved jerseys are the Classic and the Classic Pro - and their two most popular long sleeved jerseys are the Winter Jersey and the Roubaix Jersey.
It's thought that most people will choose to order from amongst these four styles.
Within the committee, for a short sleeved jersey, some favour the Classic and some prefer the Classic Pro. However, the Classic seems to be the more popular.

We now need people to order and pay for whichever jerseys they'd like to be ordered on their behalf.
We will need to place just one order if we're to receive bulk order discounts and we want to be able to place our order in early November - for delivery probably in late December.
So, we're asking that all orders are made before the end of October - with payment also to be made by that date.

All of the different styles available from Gear Club can be viewed via the link below, when detailed descriptions for any particular style can be seen by clicking on its picture:

Prices for each of the different styles can also be seen via the link below this paragraph.
The price that members will pay for any style is that shown in the third column from the left - in the column with the red heading.
In particular, therefore, the price for a short sleeved Classic will be £26, that for a Classic Pro will be £32, that for a long sleeved Winter Jersey will be £32 and that for a long sleeved Roubaix Jersey will be £43.

We have a number of samples of Gear Club jerseys - not in our design, but in different styles and sizes.
These are being made available for people to see / try on - by taking them out on different club rides.
If you don't manage to see the samples via this means then please contact Dave Griffiths to explore other options.

Once you've decided what styles and size you want, then your order needs to be placed with Dave Griffiths and payment needs to be made via the group's bank account.
No order will be included in the group's order if payment hasn't been received. If nothing is said about the zip, when ordering, then a default of full length and hidden will be assumed.
Similarly, if an order is simply for a short sleeved jersey then it will be assumed that it's the Classic jersey that's wanted - and the Winter Jersey will be viewed as the default long sleeved jersey.

We'd prefer payment to be made by direct transfer to the group's bank account. If paying by this method, then the account is a form of Business Account - the details for which are:

Bank: Lloyds Bank
Sort Code: 30 99 50
Account Number: 37126763
Account Name: Notts District Association Cyclist Touring Club

If you aren't able to pay by direct transfer, then cheques should be made payable to Notts Cyclist Touring Club and posted to Dave Griffiths at the address below.

Orders should be emailed to Dave Griffiths at david.griffiths@bridgford.plus.com or posted to him at 32 Nearsby Drive, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 6LB.
If posting your order, then please also provide a contact telephone number. Dave's landline number is 0115 923 2953.
Finally, please do remember that your order and payment both need to be made before the end of October.
